Civil Society Organizations  

Along having a great importance on behalf of the public and state, Civil Society Organizations, which are also called NGOs or 3rd sector; fulfill very crucial missions and functions. A couple of them are:

·         Functioning as connecting bridge between people and the administration

·         Increasing the welfare of the region where it is active

·         Preventing the delays and halts in public service on the areas that the public sector is incapable of, by creating important projects. 

Many educational, medical, cultural and sportive services are held with contributions of civil society organizations especially in developed democracies. 

Burç-Der, as a civil society organization

Burç-Der ( Burç Professionals Club) is a civil society organization established in 2005 with gathering of public servants

Burç, a word that stands for the abbreviation of Bursa Çalışanlar ( Bursa professionals), is being used as the name of our organization.

Our association is a member of Marmara Professionals Federation (MCF), headquartered in Istanbul. Comprising 25 civil society organizations (clubs, associations, leagues, chambers, foundations etc.), MCF is a platform for 4.000 individuals

Burç-Der, by gathering public servants in all levels (managers, chiefs, medical servants, technicians etc.), was established to help them in their national, occupational, technical and professional developments  In this context, for the purpose of occupational and technical development of public servants in all levels in public institutions, Burç-der:

·         can arrange seminars,  panels, training programs and courses

·         can make an effort for the problems to come into question and their resolution by holding meetings and discussions with personal and legal entities.

can make contributions to creation of civil society and democracy consciousness by developing a broad and realistic perspective that secures life styles, rights and freedoms of all professionals by maintaining the provision with effective and efficient service of professionals.
